Prelude in E minor Op. 28 No. 4 by Frederic Chopin. Piano. Intermediate. 

This famous '' Largo '' in E minor is one of Chopin's most played preludes thanks to its brevity and simple writing that is apparently characterized by a descending melodic and harmonic chromatic progression. One of the technical difficulties of this prelude resides nevertheless in the good execution of the measures 16 to 18, and more generally in the realization of its phrasing. The fourth prelude was notably performed at the organ of the Madeleine by Louis Lefébure-Wély on the day of the composer's funeral.
